Before the outbreak, life was going a million miles a minute and it felt like no one in the world had a moment to spare. But oh boy, how circumstances have changed.
Now humanity WORLD-WIDE has more time than they know what to do with, and it’s starting to make us all a little stir-crazy. Heres a few things you can try from home ..
10 Ideas for quarantine motivation:
1. Learn to dance..
Bust out the sports bra and uptowns ladies! It’s time to get funky.. (said in my DJ Casper voice). Okay, so maybe no the cha cha slide, but YouTube has TONS of breakdowns of some fire choreographed routines to the jump offs. I personally ATTEMPTED both these ↓ (NOTE: was not a success)
2. Try yoga..
Been on the bucket list for a while but just couldn’t find the time? No moment like the present my friend. I’ll put a link to some of my favorite Yogi flows below ↓
3. Journal..
Writing is such a good way to release stress and kill time. You don’t have to go writing a novel but journal your thoughts. Write down what you’re feeling during all of this. It’s a good time capsule to come back to years from now and reflect back on your thought process.
4. Learn to bake..
Pandemic or not, baking is one of my all time favorite hobbies. Chanel your inner Martha Stewart and bake a cake! Explore the world of bread, get the kid’s involved and make sugar cookies. The options are endless here. It’s good family time and the results will be yummy 🙂 For ideas on what to bake, check out my baking instagram below ↓
5. Paint a picture..
Go to Target, buy some acrylics and brushes, put on some old clothes and throw some paint on a canvas. Literally! I did this with my family a week ago and I don’t remember the last time we all had so much fun together. Remember, there’s no such thing as bad art.
6. Learn to play the guitar..
When else are you going to have the time to learn a new instrument? YouTube make’s a self-taught musician possible. It’s how I taught myself to play in less than a year. I’ll link a few guitars with a range of pricing below ↓

7. Learn a new language..
Keep the brain active and challenge yourself! Enjoy the process of exploring a culture and learning to speak their native tongue. It’s an asset and a great way to keep your mind stimulated.
